Transition Falmouth and other Local Events – May 2019

A wide range of groups and councillors were represented at last month’s useful April 9th meeting at the Council Chambers. Plans were for a follow-up meeting in about 6 weeks – we will update with details once we know more).

In the meantime, our regular monthly gatherings for Transition Falmouth and Falmouth LETS continue at the PennyComeQuick pub on Falmouth Moor from 7pm on Wednesday 1st May. As ever, all are welcome!

Monthly Falmouth & Penryn Repair Cafe

on Sunday 5th May, 1:30pm-4pm, at

Methodist Church Hall, 10 Killigrew St, Falmouth TR11 3PG

Open the first Sunday of each month from 1.30 – 4pm.

There are usually sewing, electrical, mechanical, computing, and ceramic repairers present.

Annual Tregoniggie Woodland Fair

on Saturday 11th May, from 11am-3pm at

Tregoniggie Woodland, Falmouth TR11 4SP *

Plants for sale, woodland activities for all (woodland walks, pond dipping for mini-beasts, willow weaving, bird spotting, etc.). Tea, coffee and cake available! Come and celebrate the beauty and value of woodlands for wildlife and for people!

    Transition Constantine are showing this film on May 15th at the Tolmen Centre Constantine, 7.30pm – ticket £4 -please come! There will be a panel discussion afterwards and questions.
