  • Falmouth LETS and Truro LETS. Regular monthly meetings, Falmouth 4th Mondays, Truro 2nd Wednesdays plus work-parties: Falmouth 3rd weekend in month, Truro irregular. See http://falmouthlets.org.uk and trurolets.org.uk.
  • Multi-lingual version of software as used on Falmouth LETS site being developed by programmers in Holland and Norway in collaboration with Rob & Chris from Falmouth LETS.

• • Is investigating the idea of a tool library for the area and demonstrated a possible admin system.

  • Producing drawings on retrofit projects for Fal Energy Partnership.

• • Fal Energy Partnership application LEAF fund, (produced in 13 days and submitted midnight 21st Dec). Bid consists of:
    • • community awareness-raising through local festivals and activities;
    • • local case studies,
    • • local parish champions;
    • • website (to include a ‘hot map’);
    • • assist local landowners to erect wind turbines;
      • retrofit and insulation advice for local typical housing.

    Will know if successful second week in Jan.

  • Fal Energy Partnership at The Poly: Wed 25th Jan. ‘How to make it happen’- local energy, local wealth and local resilience. Donations £2 to The Poly
  • ‘Forward to Basics’. Start end of Jan – Six week programme of info and activities – basic living needs and initiatives to reduce poverty: food, shelter, fuel, money, company and opportunity. Displays in foyer of Falmouth Library, activities and meetings etc. Partnership with Falmouth and Penryn Poverty Forum, Community Alive Falmouth, Fairtrade Falmouth, Falmouth LETS and Transition Falmouth.
  • May (date not set yet). ‘Falmouth Alive Big Debate’: The third annual event for Community Alive Falmouth supporting and networking local groups.
