The following received from the Green Living Society. Highly recommended especially if you missed the screening at the Poly last year:
Monday 5 March, 18:00–21:30
Old Chapel Lecture Theatre, Tremough Campus, Penryn TR10 9FE
tickets available www.eventbrite.co.uk
The Green Living Society and Sail Against Plastic team are extremely excited to bring you a screening of this powerful and inspiring film: a hugely positive, affirming and inspirational film that explores creative solutions in tackling the issues of food, energy, transport, economics and education. It showcases permaculture farms, urban agriculture projects, community-owned renewable projects, local currencies, creative schools and ambitious recycling projects.
Tickets for the film are £5, with a proportion of the proceeds going towards funding the student-led ‘Sail Against Plastic’ expedition planned for summer 2018. The rest of contributions will go to the Transition Network: the superb organisation that helped produce this amazing film, and who continue to support community-led projects all across the World.
We really hope you can find the time to join us! And if you’re in need of any more persuasion: a whole range of vegan cakes and bakes will be available on the night too!
