Instead of the usual Transition Falmouth and Falmouth LETS meetings at the Captain’s Table in the Greenbank Hotel, there’s a slight change of format and venue this month.
For the July gathering on Wednesday 26th July, at the slightly later time of 7:30pm, we will be having a “green drinks” event in the Working Boat which is tucked away on the quay at the Greenbank Hotel.
We hope this will encourage more people to come to talk about their projects, share ideas, or just socialise.
Since the showing of the film Demain at the Poly back in May, Chiara has been very busy with Transition Falmouth’s facebook page, so please do take a look (and also, of course, feel free to leave comment or send us news here on our main website)
There have been some great new local community projects getting off the ground, including Falmouth’s own Cafe Repair (now held regularly on the first Sunday of each month at the Methodist Church Hall, The Moor, Falmouth. 1.30-4.30pm) and the Falmouth & Penryn Co-housing Collective which Miguel told us about when he came to our June meeting.
We’re always pleased to see new faces as well as our regulars, and are more than happy to help publicise other local initiatives with a Transition ethos.
