Rob Hopkins on Peak Oil & Transition Towns

Rob Hopkins is the founder of Transition Culture, Transition Town Totnes and initiator of the first Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP). His talk will present a positive transition towards re-localisation of our energy, economy, food, transport, health and more.

Film: “The Power of Community”

This inspiring film looks at how Cuba responded to the collapse of the Soviet Union and the overnight disappearance of most of its oil imports. 50-minute film followed by discussion.

Ben Simpson and Neil Farrington of Community Energy Plus outline Climate Change and Energy issues with examples of what is being done in Cornwall, and what we can do locally.

Paul Martin of Cornwall Switch will outline community and local economic strategies and help us launch our own Food Co-op.
