Waste : Showing of film “Trashed” in Falmouth

In response to continuing concerns over the waste situation both globally and locally a screening of the acclaimed film “Trashed” has been arranged by Untrashed Cornwall – a new group (supported by Transition Falmouth) set up recently to help resolve some of the issues around waste, particularly the need to conserve valuable resources and reduce the environmental impact of waste.

The showing in Falmouth is taking place on Thursday, 19th June at 7.30 pm at the Royal Cornwall Polytechnic (the Poly) in Church Street, Falmouth.

There will be an admission charge to help cover costs of the screening.

For more details or to book a ticket please visit http://www.thepoly.org/whats-on/film/ or click here for poster.

The film, fronted by Jeremy Irons, pulls no punches, and raises some far-reaching concerns around the way in which we view waste and how we dispose of the waste we all create, but also offers solutions we can all help implement.
